The Bill (Reg.№4017) introduces amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine that prohibit the officials of prosecution bodies, court, state security, internal affairs, notariat, deputies of local councils, official of the local self-government to combine high-ranking offices with the possession and use of corporative rights.
Moreover, the bill proposes prohibition for prosecutors and prosecution investigators to be the members of the political parties.
The members of the Committee came to the conclusion that the principles of the bill regarding the prohibitions did not correspond to Articles 41 and 64 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
The attention was drawn to the fact that the Supreme Court of Ukraine also expressed conceptual remarks to the bill in its response and failed to uphold it.
